The purpose of this site is to tell stories through the use of photogrammetry and discover effective contexts in which to place 3d models for the purpose of journalism.

Due to userfriendliness of ArcGis and Esri I also included interviews, photographs, maps and an interactive global warming graphic by NASA. All the work was done to better understand the life and times of the blue winged teal and the ecology of the Great Plains.

This is my intial attempt to create journalist work that is practice in using an "object of meditation" that will aid take photogrammetry as seriously as writing and traditional photography as a means of telling a story.

In a sense every story is an act of meditation.

A photograph lends itself to the contemplation of the reality that dances within the frame.

A well written article is a meditative act that produces  empathy for people and places we may have previously known or cared little about.

How can photogrammetry be used in journalism to tell stories that will engage and inform the public?

This is a question worth meditating on :)
